Lunch at Farie Rock

Today, Grey Wolf and I traveled into Oak Creek canyon to have lunch with a wonderful friend Dillion, she suggested that we be introduced to one of her favorite places on the planet! This place was within walking distance from her house and so we were off on another adventure. We walked on a dirt road from her house up the canyon and the trail cut off across an open field into the Standing tall ones. As we made our way around the trees and large stones we passed the old homestead of the Thompson's which are one of the first few pioneeres here in this area. Next we walked through acreas and acreas of Blackberries to end at the creek's babbling brook, where the Farie Rock stood out amongst the most mystical farie home that I had visited. I felt very honored to be welcomed so nicely by all the beings what were there.
We sat down to eat our luch and set out some for the spirits who lived there as well. All three of us ate Corn tamalies, cucumber, grapefruit, avacado chuncks with mango salsa and with grated chesse drizzled over all of this and our dessert was fresh pineapple chuncks. We saw tree spirits and the Watercress was everywhere you looked. Pictures will be posted soon of this place. The water springs up out of the ground here and is very cold and clear the bottom of the area was filled with great soft-on-the-feet dirt. We gave a gift of tobacco and said our thank-you's.
Thank-you to you Dillion for sharing you sacred place so unselfishly with us today as it will always stay in our hearts. Wado!
